The fact that Trans peoples civil rights are constantly violated and are usually ignored we know that we can’t depend on traditional media to tell our stories, we must do it ourselves.
Here at ETHC we trust THE ADVOCATE magazine for our Latest News on what’s really going on with our brothers and sisters.
We choose the Advocate not only because its an LGBTQ+ interest magazine but because they are unbiased and present Trans people as the people they are not who the world thinks they should be.
Most online magazines and other forms of trusted media are known for their lack of interest in stories involving trans people. Many of these “trusted” forms of media also have a horrible habit of misgendering trans people or simply not reporting our stories at all.
The internet has forced people to face what they once could ignore or hide. The Revolution may not be televised but it will certainly be online.
