About ETHC
Who We Are
We are a non-profit organization founded by Moriah Ferguson in January 2020.
ETHC was born with the sole purpose of bringing attention to the injustices that trans people particularly Trans Women and Men of Color face daily while advocating for the seemingly obvious Rights and Justice WE DESERVE, but rarely get.
What We Do
We bring attention to trans issues that are often overlooked or under reported in the media. All of our media is original content unless otherwise noted and linked to the source. We give our audience the opportunity to feel included in the conversation and our goal is to build a sense of community rather than recycling other peoples recycled content and moving on to the next sensationalized thing.
We Feature our talented trans brothers and sisters by showcasing their talents and telling their stories. Yea we know the industries are oversaturated, however many talented trans people get overlooked and we want to change that. We want to give our family their flowers while they are here. We try to highlight trans people that are associated with the Carolinas BUT this is not exclusive to NC , we will showcase any of our brothers and sisters wherever they are and or from. We provide educational, housing and career resources to set our trans brothers and sisters up for success. Who doesn’t need a little or a lot of help at some point in their life? We give our family the best, most reliable resources we can find. We are actively searching for new resources so you don’t have to look far. We got you!
We are active in our community and volunteer for local events. This is a great opportunity for us to network and mingle. You’d be surprised how many wonderful people will take time from their normally busy schedule to volunteer their services for a cause they believe in. Yea, that’s us!
